About LifeCare

Our Mission

It is the goal of the LifeCare Psychology Group to provide excellent professional psychology services in a small, caring, private practice.  For those who are interested, we also strive to integrate the benefits of psychotherapy with the eternal characteristics, beliefs, and practices of the Christian faith.  We want to provide the best possible care of body, mind, and spirit to everyone.  Individuals of different faiths, or those who have not adopted a personal religion, will be respected in all ways and in these circumstances traditional psychotherapies will be utilized with the same intent of providing the best care possible.

Founded in 1989 by Dr. Avie Rainwater, LifeCare Psychology Group has developed a close working relationship with many of the health providers in the PeeDee reigon.  As a result, LifeCare has consistently been a top choice for medical doctors seeking to provide their patients with mental health care.

LifeCare seeks to provide those it serves with lasting, life-changing results.  Our providers are not interested in a "quick fix."  We want to help those we work with make changes that will bring about the change they are seeking and the put skills in place to make sure that change lasts!
